The Hills Have eyes:

This is similar to our film trailer idea as people are being kidnapped and experimented on which is the basis of our idea.

In the Flesh: 2013- present BBC television drama
Zombies are cured and returned home to their family’s after a undead apocalypse,  but there is still a lot of pregidus and discrimination against them. This relates to our film as it the result of an event which is similar to ours. It also incorporates religion elements.

The Island (2005) A high budget film with very famous cast of Hollywood actors directed by Michael bay the man behind films like transformers.
This film featuring Scarlett Johanson and Ewan McGregor is set in the future when scientist have found a way of harvesting perfect replicas of humans a “perfect” human that will be healthy so if something happens to the original host like a car crash or fatal illness the clone can be killed and used to save his life, but the experiments are being treated like animals living a prison like life of the same routine until one day two of the experiments don’t take their medication and the experimentation backfires as the clones escape and after lots of confusion try to make a life for them self.
But this leads to hard questions on the future of moral and human rights, leaving the audience thinking about if harvesting humans cruel and inhumanely is wrong and will it actually happen in the future.

Early Gothic Horror: Frankenstein and the Adams family
Similarities of the set, architecture settings and inspiration with characters villains, Angels, Fallen Angels, demons supernatural darkness and secrets all fit in with the gothic fiction genre

We think that the film the Addams Family Values is similar to the idea of abnormality and people being different from the crowed and the Addams family are shown as gothic living in a abandoned not looked after house.
